Trapped is based on the incipient revolution in the city of Ibarra, Ecuador and follows the journeys of Susana and Jose Maria, two Venezuelans, as they attempt to flee from everything they have ever known. This play focuses on the themes of xenophobia, racism, and the many cases of femicides.
